Position Summary

Lammscapes is looking for an experienced, dependable Landscape Construction Foreman to lead field crews and oversee day-to-day execution of landscape construction projects. This full-time, year-round position is responsible for managing job site production, maintaining safety and quality standards, and keeping projects on schedule.

The right candidate is a strong field leader who can read plans, coordinate crews, solve problems quickly, and deliver high-quality finished work in a professional manner.

Pay

$30.00 - $36.00 per hour, depending on experience, leadership ability, and construction skill set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise landscape construction crew members on active job sites
  • Review plans, layouts, and specifications before and during project execution
  • Plan daily work, assign tasks, and keep projects moving efficiently
  • Oversee and perform installation work including hardscapes, retaining walls, patios, walkways, grading, drainage, planting, sod, mulch, and related construction tasks
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, deliveries, and job site logistics
  • Maintain quality control and correct issues before they become rework
  • Communicate progress, delays, change conditions, and field issues to management
  • Enforce job site safety standards, PPE use, and safe equipment operation
  • Train and mentor crew members on installation techniques, workmanship, and expectations
  • Operate equipment and tools safely, including skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, saws, trailers, and other construction equipment
  • Track labor, material usage, and daily job progress as required
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
  • Represent Lammscapes professionally with customers, subcontractors, and vendors when needed

Qualifications Required

  • Prior landscape construction experience
  • Previous experience leading a crew as a Foreman or Crew Leader
  • Ability to read landscape plans, elevations, and project specifications
  • Strong understanding of hardscape installation, grading, drainage, planting, and site sequencing
  • Ability to lead a crew while maintaining productivity, safety, and quality
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions year-round
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Equipment operation experience

Lammscapes is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect to join our Design/Build team. This role is responsible for turning client ideas into practical, buildable landscape designs that align with project budgets, site conditions, and customer goals.

The right candidate combines design ability, plant and material knowledge, customer communication skills, and a strong understanding of how projects move from concept to installation.

Pay

Full-time, starting pay $65,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year (including base pay, plus commission)

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to understand goals, preferences, budget, and timeline
  • Conduct site visits, take measurements, photos, and gather field information
  • Create conceptual landscape designs and final design plans
  • Develop planting plans, hardscape layouts, and presentation materials
  • Recommend plant, material, and feature selections that fit the project vision and budget
  • Revise plans based on client feedback and internal input
  • Collaborate with sales, project management, and operations to support estimating and project handoff
  • Maintain organized job files, notes, and design documentation
  • Help ensure a smooth transition from design to production
  • Support professional customer experience throughout the design process

Qualifications

  • Experience in landscape design, landscape architecture, horticulture, or a related field preferred
  • Proficiency with design software such as U-Vision
  • Strong knowledge of plant material, grading, hardscape materials, and outdoor living design
  • Ability to create designs that are both attractive and buildable
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Valid driver’s license preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or certificate in landscape design, horticulture, landscape architecture, or related field
  • Experience in residential design/build landscaping
  • Experience presenting design concepts to clients
  • Familiarity with estimating support and design-to-production handoff
  • Understanding of Wisconsin plant material and regional site conditions

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine landscape maintenance services including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, weeding, pruning, mulch work, and seasonal cleanups
  • Maintain clean, consistent property appearance and quality standards at every stop
  • Operate maintenance equipment safely, including mowers, string trimmers, blowers, edgers, hedge trimmers, and other hand tools
  • Complete daily equipment checks and report mechanical issues promptly
  • Load, unload, secure, and transport tools and equipment safely
  • Follow route instructions, site notes, and company standards for each property
  • Watch for property issues such as turf stress, pests, plant decline, drainage concerns, or irrigation problems, and report them
  • Communicate professionally with crew leaders, managers, and customers when needed
  • Follow all company safety requirements, including PPE, jobsite awareness, and safe equipment use
  • Help maintain a clean, organized truck, trailer, and work area
  • Track completed work, notes, and any site issues as required

Qualifications

  • Experience in landscape maintenance preferred, but willing to train the right person
  • Preferred: Pesticide Applicator License
  • Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and changing weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Ability to follow directions, work well with a crew, and maintain a positive attitude
